SWEDISH
Swedish massage is the style that comes to mind when most people think about massage. It is the most common and best-known type form of bodywork performed today.
The goal is relaxing the entire body and this is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Additional techniques include circular pressure applied by the hands and palms, firm kneading, percussion-like tapping, bending and stretching. Lotion is often used to reduce friction and stimulate the skin.
Swedish massage is exceptional for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

DEEP TISSUE
Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage but is used to target knots and release chronic muscle tension. Deep tissue massage uses strokes across the grain of the muscles, not with the grain as in Swedish massage. The more intense movements and techniques such as deep finger pressure may be slightly uncomfortable and cause soreness that lasts a couple of days before resulting in the desired relaxation and pain relief. Other benefits include reducing inflammation and helping to eliminate scar tissue. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a branch of massage that focuses solely on the hands and feet. Originally developed as “zone therapy” in the early twentieth century, reflexology uses specifically targeted points on the extremities to send signals to the brain and balance the nervous system.
A reflexologist stretches and moves the hands and feet, applying pressure on reflex areas that correspond to specific organs and other parts of the body. Endorphins are released throughout the entire body, reducing stress and returning the body to equilibrium. Reflexology has been known to provide relief from ailments such as tension headaches, arthritis, digestive issues and back pain.

Ear Candling
Ear candling is a natural, non-intrusive procedure that may help alleviate the painful effects of chronic headaches, sinus conditions, allergies, vertigo, as well as minor hearing loss due to excessive earwax build up. Ear candling is a very effective holistic remedy. Although many have found it to be safe and effective, as well as very relaxing, it should not replace medical treatment.
It is believed as the candle burns, gentle warm smoke is drawn into the ear canal that softens and loosens ear wax, and other debris, which is then gently pulled into the unburned portion of the candle.
Ear candling is a preventative measure intended to help keep your ears healthy. If you suspect that you have an inner ear infection, we recommend that you see your doctor. Ear candling is not intended to replace medical treatment and can be dangerous on unhealthy ears.
Relax and unwind with this safe and effective procedure to gently remove excess ear wax and debris. A muslin candle dipped in beeswax is lit on one end while the other is placed in the ear. Soft heat warms the ear wax which is then pulled into the unburned portion of the candle. It takes about 15 minutes per candle, per ear, and it's recommended you not do more than two candles per ear in a single session.
2 Candle each ear (30 minutes total) - $50
1 Candles each ear (60 minutes total) - $25
2 Candle each ear add-on with massage - $30
1 Candles each ear add-on with massage - $15
